Hi everybody.

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week and are ready to enjoy your weekend.

I want to start this report by saying that the work is progressing well, in the sense that we're happy with the parts of the game we've so far developed, and although there are bugs and issues that needs to be ironed out, nothing requires a major overhaul (the way multiple parts of the last update's content did, for example). That said, we have three months left of 2025, and given that I haven't yet finished posing the core content of the update, I think it'd be fair to say that I don't expect we'll be able to have the 0.8 release ready this year.

As for when in 2026 you can expect the release, I think we'll be able to wrap things up in the first quarter of next year. In the meantime, we'll continue sharing our progress tracker every day. I do think there's enough content in the update to justify the wait (it's shorter than 0.7 but longer than most of our previous releases), and I think what's there is fun, humorous, and sexy, but still, that doesn't change the fact that we gave a release date and very likely won't be able to meet it. Chestnut and I are very sorry about that, and I hope you give us a chance to finish the release and share it with you.
