Hi everybody.

Happy Friday, and I hope you're all feeling well and had a great week. Here in the MagicNuts corner of northern Spain it's been cold, rainy, and it feels like winter already. Good thing we don't leave the house much by choice or we'd have been freezing our backsides. Speaking of the rear part of the human anatomy, here's a summary of our work on Holly's update:

Chestnut:

She divided her work between designing layered images for a sex scene and adding buttons and extra elements to two additional backgrounds. One of the backgrounds in question was initially meant to be part of a cutscene. Given its location and potential, though, we decided to turn it into a clickable, interactable background. I still haven't coded it in (partly because it's not done), but it should be a location we can go to after the story of 0.8 is concluded.

Pistachio:

I edited text from the second step of the 'think' quest, posed the edited dialogue, found bugs, and wrote a couple of optional convos (when I was tired of posing).

Chestnut and I have been talking a lot about the update and the characters, mostly in preparation for my polish phase of early next year, and we had an idea for Celestina which, although has the potential to be a tad controversial, is both funny and makes total sense given the events of 0.8 and her role in them.

Next week's plan:

Chestnut will finish the extra bits for the backgrounds and return to drawing sex scenes.

I'm going to be editing dialogues, posing them, creating placeholder art when necessary, uploading the placeholders for Chestnut to work on later, and making a list of any bugs I found, fixing them on the spot only if they hinder my progress.

PS. I must clarify that Celestina's controversial bit will not be as bad as the 0.3's, where the MC had to have a sex scene with her. No, it won't be anything like that, but still, some people are bound to say "WHY?" while the rest will hopefully have a chuckle.
