Notice of Christmas Break

Hello! Everyone! Tis' the season!

Some of you may have noticed Desolation of the Caged Bird did not get an update this week, and that was due to the chapter being so uncharacteristically bleak that I had to scrap it.

Once the initial Christmas cheer wears off, I feel the blues, because I remember how I have no one to spend Christmas with. The blues get worse the closer we get to the day, and inevitably leaks into my writing. I'd rather not have it do so.

It is for that reason I will be going on a two-week break, from the 12th of December to the 26th. Updates will resume on the 29th, after the conclusion of all festivities.

Hopefully, within this time frame, I should be able to make plans to ensure I spend my Christmas around people this year, rather than alone at home eating Heinz baked beans and re-watching Jim Carrey's performance as the Grinch.
