He's almost certainly at saint/spirit level, if not outright immortal, in terms of sheer strength. His main issue isn't strength but rather technique. The devil saint domain is apparently a domain that's mastered the soul, whereas people from the nine rivers continent barely know what soul cultivation is. And moreover, the nin rivers continent has been shown to be far inferior to the continent in every single regard except elemental cultivation. So, if MC comes across even just a rank 5 soul expert, I'd imagine he'd need to start worrying heavily.
