I am finally more available to be able to suggest horror ideas for this year! :3  - Parasitic slug breasts, which attack women or men by clinging to their chests and grow bigger by feeding on the blood and entrails of their victims, until they can be transformed into puppets to attack other victims, using their charms, to change hosts or reproduce. (We could imagine the same thing with a parasitic penis, but hey. X'D)

Usually whenever I draw these suggestions, the suggestion matches to a creature I already have an idea about in the lore of my worlds, yet a few suggestions this month prompted some very outlandish horror, sci-fi, or fantasy creatures that it inspired something completely new and original. This was one of the concepts that came out of this suggestion...

These are called by many names. By some Carrion Crawlers, Puppet Snails, Mansnails, Slugmen, or Body Stealer Slugs. But the name most often given to them are Slokurum.

Necromancy is known to have strange effects on creatures, causing many side effects on them. This can vary from cancerous growths, the growth of new limbs, increase in size, genetic breakdown, or complete mutation. While many creatures simply die from the Necromantic radiation, others thrive from it, growing, feeding on it, and becoming more powerful. While Necromancy often makes things barren, it can also do the opposite, and allow for mutations that set into a creature to pass on to it's offspring, slowly but surely breeding new forms of unnatural life.

Among those that are the most effected by Necromantic radiation are the smaller creatures of the world. The pests and vermin, rats, and rodents as well as insects, worms, spiders and other crawling things. Often times afflicted by the necromancy and transformed into something hideous and wrong. 

The Slokurum derived from various types of slug or snails that became parasitic in nature due to the transformation caused by the Necromancy. They grew larger and larger, and outgrew their shells, or began to seek shells in a manner similar to a hermit crab. Believed to be more evolved forms of the Skullsnails that can be found in ancient tombs or graveyards, the Slokurum do not seek out corpses and steal their skulls to use as homes, but rather begin life incredibly small and adhere to the flesh of the creatures they touch. Their flesh is slimy and acidic and they stick to the flesh of a creature passing by. They melt into their skin and meld with it, appearing as a lesion or small tumor or skin tag and slowly begin feeding on the flesh of the creature they've bonded with. They move through the skin and toward areas of great soft tissue or protein, and as such often target the breasts or genitals of creatures, though they can riddle creatures entire bodies with themselves. From there they will slowly grow their bodies as they consume the soft tissue, melding themselves with the working organs and tissues of the living creature they're inside of, highjacking organs and beginning to flourish from the creature's own body. 

This may cause the creature to become sickly or somewhat frail sometimes, but it will increase their sex drive and stamina in bed. This causes the creature's life to occasionally revolve around sexual gratification and breeding as well as finding as many partners as it can, as it is unknowingly spreading the eggs of the slokurum within the creatures it breeds with like an STI. This is aided by the massive production of pheromones that the creature puts out into the air to make it appear more attractive, and it's slime beginning to work as an aphrodisiac. The creature's mind will slowly begin to go as it becomes much more zombie like due to the body's processing power all going to the Slokurum. As the Slokurum gets more powerful, it will begin growing larger and larger, and become difficult to hide. As it grows enough and begins to take control over the body, it will use it's own mouth and eyes to procure food, using the body as a decoy, remembering base words and phrases that may sound like nonsense to lure people in, where they will bite into the creature and constrict into them, or spout a bloody acidic and sticky substance from their mouths to burn and dissolve their prey. The longer the Slokurum thrives in a creature, the more gaunt and emaciated their host becomes, and the more they begin to mutate, growing multiple tails, or even mutating the host's body to grow new limbs inspired by the Slokurum, such as massive humanoid arms or legs, or even growing into multi headed masses of flesh and slug meat. 

Though usually the Slokurum will eat one another inside a host's body, on occasion multiples will thrive in the same environment and their sensory systems will meld together within the body and they will become, essentially, extensions of one another and work as a sort of hive mind. It isn't uncommon for offspring that aren't implanted into another, to still hatch within the Slokurum and breech it's body, causing much more mutated Slokurum to appear as a single shambling humanoid with a massive slug head and many smaller ones emerging from it's body. 

These horrid creatures can cause pandemics and infest entire villages that must then be burned to the ground. Necromancers occasionally use these creatures in their experiments as the slime they produce can cause the various necromantic mutations they seek, as well as the aphrodisiac and pheromonal properties of the slokurum being useful for creating love potions as well as various mind control elixers, or even using diluted versions of it to create potions that prevent mind control by subjecting yourself to a weaker form of it. These are very dangerous and disgusting practices however and are only done in black market dealings.

Slokurum appeared several times on Earth during various nuclear tests, and were wiped out or captured by the various government agencies involved with such tests. The Government organization known as B.E.A.S.T. or Bestial Entity Apprehension, Subdual, and Termination that works for the Government group known as P.R.I.M.E. in America has several samples still held within their facilities used for various testing...

Their relation to the Marsadiri is unknown, however it is believed that they may be somehow distantly related due to their similarities in nature.
