Super Huge Thank You (and the Future of the Channel)

Hi all, Kotor here.

You might have noticed that posts have dried up recently. To be honest, we were in the process of revamping Patreon entirely to make all of our reward tiers more accessible for you guys, but we decided to put that on hold once this whole messy pandemic started.

I had expected our Patreon support to drop over the past weeks. I figured, that made sense, after all, people are going to be suffering a bit at the moment.

To my surprise, not a single one of you has cancelled or even reduced your pledge. Indeed, a couple of you have increased the amount you're supporting us.

I just wanted to say a super duper huge thank you. We're really humbled by your support. At this trying time, a lot of our various pots of money are running dry - BretonStripes can't do her day job at all, so she's not getting paid, my work is slowing down, and YouTube ad revenue is at an all time low and still falling.

It's been really good to know that we can count on you guys. You provide hope in a turbulent time for us.

That said...

Things don't look like they're getting easier any time soon. If and when you need to tighten your belt, we understand. We want you guys to be okay too, so if you need to reduce or cancel your financial support, we completely understand. Take care of yourself.

For the month of March, we trialed doing two videos a week instead of just one. It was intense, but we made some fun stuff that we were proud of. We're going to try doing three a week for a little while just to see what happens, but because I don't want to bombard you with too any Patreon messages, I'm thinking of just sending out a weekly or biweekly bulletin with links to all out recent videos. To be honest I assume you guys are mostly seeing our work through YouTube anyway.

You guys are great. Please stay safe, keep going, and with any luck, this global crisis will pass before too long.
