Hello everyone, I've sent the messages out for this month's Patron vote. If you didn't receive a message and you successfully pledged at voter-tier in January then let me know. Voting choices are in this blog post: http://splendidostrich.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/newlife-04-release-voting-candidates.html I've decided to stick with Patreon messaging again for the votes. I had a look at some online poll sites, but I couldn't find one that offered the functionality we need without being a massive pain for keeping track of who gets to vote each time. I'm going to explain the system I'm using to vote - you don't really need to read this, but I figured someone would be bound to ask if I didn't write it here! - Voters give me a list of some or all options in ranked order - I count up the first choice votes - The option with the fewest first choice votes is eliminated. - Everyone who voted for the eliminated choice has their votes redistributed to their 2nd choice. - Repeat until there's just 2 options left. The one with the most votes is the winner. If there are any ties and I can't see a way to separate them by voter preferences, then I'll either just pick my favourite or pick one at random - no re-votes this month! Voting ends on Friday 27th. Next month I'll make sure to run the vote closer to the start of the month. It'll be interesting to see what gets chosen. I left this post viewable by all Patrons because even if you aren't eligible to vote this month you might want to comment and explain why you think a particular choice is best, in the hope of swaying the opinion of some voters. Let's hope the result is one everyone's happy with :)
