Added 2015-08-18 23:50:40 +0000 UTCHello everyone! After spending the last few hours writing a tool to actually process the votes, I've calculated the results. Things will go quicker next time though, as I can re-use my new voting application for all the future ones.
The short answer, is that the winner was choice E: Consensual submissive/masochistic content (e.g. rough sex, humiliation etc)
I'll do a blog post with a summary soon. Do you want me to post the full output from my voting tool?
This won't show any personal information, but It will show the full result calculations including which choices got no first-choice votes at all. If anyone's concerned that this'd be a privacy problem then speak up and I'll keep it secret. Otherwise, it might be interesting for people to see it.
Incidentally, the tool's output looks like this (using fake data I just made up)
976 total votes for existing candidates.
Results for this round:
A : 1
B : 2
C : 973
Eliminated this round with 1 votes:
A: Put the game on hold and spend the entire release drunk
So, as you can see, it doesn't include anyone's username or anything like that.
As a secondary question - what sort of specific submissive/masochistic content do people want to see? From a development POV it's easier for me to concentrate the new stuff in a single new sex scene, but what specific scene would you want? Or, would it be better to spread it out by adding individual new actions to existing scenes?
I won't promise that I'll definitely implement your suggestions (anyway, if more than one person makes one then I probably can't!), but it'd certainly be good to have some ideas to use as a starting point when I'm designing the new content.
