The US Election
Added 2020-11-02 23:32:20 +0000 UTCHi all! I'll be running the PMW vote in a week, but for now just a quick post about a rather more obscure vote - the US elections.
I'm not an American so I don't have much to say about the election, but of course it's all over the news so I thought I'd share my 2p about one thing - it's important to vote if you can.
Voting is how you have your say on how your country is run, and it's also how you show those in charge that you matter. If people like you don't vote then it sends the message to the people in charge that they can get away with ignoring your needs. By voting, you're saying that you and people like you are important and that the politicians need to work on the issues that are important to you.
So, if you're a US voter and haven't done so yet then I encourage you to get out there and have your say.
As for Newlife, I've made a bit of a change in terms of development - I'd initially planned for 0.6.9 to be all about the rival. Instead, I'm adding a scene that isn't really office-dependent but which seems like it belongs in this release. I'll get back to rival content after the PMW release.
