Major update vote for 0.8

I'm planning for the next release to finish the work & career update. As such, it's time to vote on the next major update. These will be the 0.7.x updates, finishing with version 0.8.0.
Lesbian Content:
- Lesbian variants of the club, town-date, home-date, sleep-together and next-morning scenes.
- Lesbian lying and standing makeout scenes
- Two (or possibly more) lesbian sex scenes: I'll probably run further votes to decide which at the appropriate time.
- Lesbian virginity tracking and updates to existing content to reflect this.
- Possibly new female-npc traits, if I decide they are needed during the writing of other scenes.
- Updates to game mechanics to support the above (e.g. improved female-female attraction handling)
Homes & Money:
- Rent that must be paid at regular intervals, and a landlord who can be "convinced" to waive it temporarily.
- A couple of new places to live with passive benefits to stress and some differences in random events.
- A simple implementation of wealth-levels for men with benefits to income when marrying richer men, or a penalty for having a broke husband, plus the income for the housewife career will vary based on this.
UI Rework:
Rework the UI, probably in JavaFX. UI rework is likely to take more than a month as it took longer than that for me to make the Swing UI in 2014. Releasing a half-complete UI probably won't work, so this means there'll be some months with no releases.
The below are things I'll look into for this update, but I'm not hard-committing to implementing them: that's a decision I'll come to one-by-one once I've looked into the technical aspects of the change.
- Full-screen option that actually looks okay and doesn't resize components weirdly.
- Better handling of varying screen resolutions, with automatic resizing of text & components so players on massive resolutions won't see teeny-tiny text without breaking the game for players on small ones.
- Improve some of the poorer screens, especially the week planner.
- Properly-implemented light/dark mode
- Use of icons to give information about game state, such as the PC's arousal level.
- A basic "paper-doll" style character-viewer, initially with just a nude image and no clothes. Perhaps also an option to use a custom image for the PC.
- *maybe* an android port, though this is very optimistic. The current UI blocks this but I suspect there will be further difficulties elsewhere, and of course even if the UI is functional on android there's no guarantee it'll work well there.
The deadline is midnight (BST) on Monday the 22nd. You can select more than one option, in case you have several favourites.

2021-03-21 12:29:11 +0000 UTCFor those on the fence, there are multiple custom scene authors that are waiting on lesbian content to be added before they write their next scene. Several of them have scenes that were added to the game. So that would be the next best choice for a bunch of content down the line.

2021-03-11 07:59:10 +0000 UTCI honestly would like the Lesbian Content, I know that the Homes & Money is important for those who wanted to bribe the landlord with their PC's body and the other one with the UI Rework seem important. I just would to see something different, cause as fun as making new characters, both PC and NPC's it could get abit boring after a while so I hope this vote helps out.

2021-03-11 05:39:33 +0000 UTCIf I'm being totally honest, Homes & Money to me seems like the best choice for a lot of new and good content that's refreshing and been long overdue. A couple more lesbian scenes would be nice and all but we've already been getting plenty of those alongside the career updates and all I see out of it is a couple of twists on already existing roles like boyfriend and casual sex friend. Homes & Money would bring in at a minimum 1 new major NPC being a landlord, a rent system for all the money you just accumulate over time without much to spend on after a certain point, variations on paying rent, new living spaces with possible stat benefits, and an implementation of wealth with NPCs that would cause spouses to have more consequences and feel more established. Ideally the spouse, depending on traits, could even lead to making hard choices like reluctantly doing adult videos, reluctantly accepting landlord alternatives, asking the jerk friend for financial aid in exchange for services, and just many eventual scenes and interactions that all make sense to build off of. Not necessarily all within the first update, but at least it would set the building blocks. But I just don't see the lesbian content being anywhere near as significant. Still, that's just my opinion on my vote. I know a lot of it emphasizes ideal development for certain interactions like involving jerk friends, involving reluctant poor doormat partners to accept to unfavorable compromises, and having the landlord be a much more prominent NPC than they probably will be, but to me even the foundation for such interactions is more substantial than lesbian content. But I'm always interested to read other people's thoughts since a lot of the past votes and suggestions have been really good, I just don't know where it's best to post those.
