Major Update vote for 0.9

The lesbian update will soon be done and so it's time to vote on the next major update. These will be the 0.8.x updates, finishing with version 0.9.0.
There's now just two options left before reaching the 1.0 release: either rework the UI or a content update focused on money.
The deadline is 16:00 BST on the 21st.
Homes & Money:
- Rent that must be paid at regular intervals, and a landlord who can be "convinced" to waive it temporarily.
- A couple of new places to live with passive benefits to stress and some differences in random events.
- A simple implementation of wealth-levels for npcs with benefits to income when marrying richer characters, or a penalty for having a broke spouse, plus the income for the housewife career will vary based on this.
- Some events based on NPC partner careers.
UI Rework:
Rework the UI, probably in JavaFX. UI rework is likely to take more than a month as it took longer than that for me to make the Swing UI in 2014. Releasing a half-complete UI probably won't work, so this means there'll be some months with no releases.
The below are things I'll look into for this update, but I'm not hard-committing to implementing them: that's a decision I'll come to one-by-one once I've looked into the technical aspects of the change.
- Full-screen option that actually looks okay and doesn't resize components weirdly. - Better handling of varying screen resolutions, with automatic resizing of text & components so players on massive resolutions won't see teeny-tiny text without breaking the game for players on small ones.
- Improve some of the poorer screens, especially the week planner.
- Properly-implemented light/dark mode
- Use of icons to give information about game state, such as the PC's arousal level.
- A basic "paper-doll" style character-viewer, initially with just a nude image and no clothes. Perhaps also an option to use a custom image for the PC.
- *maybe* an android port, though this is very optimistic. The current UI blocks this but I suspect there will be further difficulties elsewhere, and of course even if the UI is functional on android there's no guarantee it'll work well there.
You can select more than one option, in case you have several favourites. Although, with just two options this probably isn't as relevant as the last time!

I voted UI purely because I'm a total UI nerd and a lovely UI turns me on almost as much as good content, but both options sound good, so it's a light preference at best. By the way, I typo'd 'AI' at first... which is kind of sort of also true in a different way, hahaha

Then surely her neighbors will suffer (or enjoy) her loud, obscene moans. One day after that, there will be a note from a neighbor taped to her front door. Protesting with her loud moans. Contrary to the protesters, Jerk the neighbor might actually praise her for being passionate in bed. I want her to become the gossip of the neighbors in the apartment. At first, the neighbors will say that a cute, beautiful, or even sexy girl has become their neighbor. But after a few weeks, her loud moans will turn her into a slutty gossip. Furthermore, if she changes dates frequently, or lets men in and out of her house who aren't her boyfriend, her neighbors will openly call her a slut. One last thing. If all the men in her neighborhood have slept with her at least once, her neighbors will start calling her the "village bicycle". Every night or weekend, one or more of them might knock on her front door to have sex with her. The unwanted visits will even happen while her BF is at her house. She has to do something to keep her BF from finding out about her infidelity. She would have to tell BF that the neighbors were over to discuss something, tell BF to wait in the living room, and then rush out the front door to threaten them or beg them to leave. If she threatens or pleads with them, most neighbors will just squeeze her breasts or slap her ass and walk away. But Jerk won't go away easily, and will threaten to expose her infidelity to BF. Her last option is to tell her BF that she's going to the convenience store in a minute, and then go to Jerk's house as a neighbor and have sex with him as he demands. But as I said before, her moans are very loud, and eventually her boyfriend will hear her lustful moans coming from the neighbor's house, and of course he won't think they belong to his woman. An hour or so later, she'll come back, sweaty and exhausted, and her BF will tell her that the couple next door had really passionate sex while she was gone, and that the girl next door moaned loudly and without shame. Or maybe her BF is calling her on the phone while she's having sex with Jerk at the neighbor's house. Because she tells him she's going to the convenience store in a minute, but she doesn't come back for more than half an hour, and there's a loud moan from a mysterious female coming from the house next door that's bothering him.

2023-06-13 12:02:51 +0000 UTCHopefully, NPCs should have their own homes. Why does she always invite guys to her flat after a date on the street? Shouldn't a guy be able to drag her to his place too? It will make "cheating events" even more awesome. For example, after a date on the street, a guy drags her to his home. Since PC was dragged to his house, they will eventually have sex. While they're still having sex, her BF calls her on PC's cell phone. BF came to her flat to meet PC, but she's currently at the guy's home, which is why BF's calling her. (If she was married, her husband might be worried about her not returning home and call her.) New options will also need to be added. Up until now, PC could "kick the guy out" of her flat. Now, in reverse, PC needs to "get out/escape" of his home. At this point, there should also be a scene where he blocks her from leaving his home, because Some Jerks thinks that once she sets foot in his house, he mistakenly believes he can do whatever he wants with her. That's why he won't let her leave his home until he sex with her. so.. She'll have to persuade him politely, or threaten him, or escape by force, or scream to get him to let her go. Of course, depending on his personality, he might easily let her go, or he might not. NPCs can also have house parties in their homes. Lesbians will have a lesbian party at their house. Maybe a coworker (or boss) invites his coworkers to his house for a party. But most of all, I look forward to the Sleazy Jerk's home party. e.g. She receives an invitation to a house party from a friend who is a Jerk and debates whether or not to go, but eventually accepts the invitation and goes to his house. - and immediately regrets it the moment she steps foot inside his front door. There are no women at his house party, except for her - she's the only one. And his friends at his house party are all Sleazy Jerks. We all know that at the "give him back his lost phone" event, Jerk shares with his friends the photos or videos he took while having sex with her. She also knows it because she's seen his phone message history. After all, the other men at Jerk's house party will all have the same goal: to have sex with her. They'll look at her lustfully, and say all sorts of sleazy things. Jerk will brag to his friends, describing in detail how he's going to fuck her, and he'll blatantly squeeze her breasts or ass in front of them. Maybe Jerk even shows them homemade porn. Eventually, over time, Jerk's friends will start making lascivious demands, openly touching or fondling her body. Sometimes at PC's home party, she and a man have sex in her bedroom without anyone else noticing. However, I would prefer that the sex scene at Jerk's home party take place in the living room, not in his bedroom. She'd be putting on a live sex show with Jerk or one of his friends in front of a bunch of horny men. She may end up having sex with multiple men instead of just one. I'm not just talking about threesomes, I'm talking about orgies (promiscuous sexual relations). Because when she puts on a live sex show in front of men, it makes other men want to have sex with her, too - they're all Sleazy Jerks, after all. After she finishes having sex with one partner, another man will push her without even giving her time to rest. Maybe Jerk's house party has a rule: everyone has to be nude. It would be even more interesting if she had a BF/hubby, and she came to Jerk's house party without telling her BF/hubby. Jerk will tell his friends that she has a boyfriend and they will mock the poor loser. It would be even more thrilling if she got a call from her BF/hubby while she was having promiscuous sexual relations with the guys for hours. Often, Jerk would shoot homemade porn with the intention of leaking it to websites. I'm hoping he's filmed homemade porn here too, with her having sex with multiple men. (homemade gang bang porn) I want the NPCs to be her neighbors. e.g. 1 - If she becomes an office lady, she meets a nice man (OFFICE_HUNK) there. And she wants to ask him out, but lacks the courage to do so. Then she finds out that he is her neighbor. - Living in the same apartment as her, on the same floor. They live in the same apartment building, so maybe she'll go with him when they leave work. e.g 2 - One evening she had a one-night stand with Jerk, a stranger she met at a bar. It's obviously a mistake, because she has a boyfriend, and of course he doesn't know about her infidelity. She tries to forget about that night. A few days later, on a weekend evening, she goes on a date with her boyfriend on the street and invites him to her flat. At the entrance to her flat, her boyfriend tells her that he has to go to the convenience store and that she should go home first and wait for him. She does as he says and heads to her flat first, alone. She arrives at her front door in the hallway of her apartment, where she hears the loud voice of a Jerk calling out to her. To her surprise, the Jerk happens to be her next-door neighbor. She freezes in shock, and Jerk slaps her ass loudly with his huge palm, greeting her with vulgar words. Still confused, she asks him in a shaky voice why he's here, and when he tells her that he missed her chance to tell her that night, he tells her that he's her neighbor and slaps her ass loudly again. Just then, she hears her boyfriend coming up the stairs from the convenience store, and Jerk squeezes her ass painfully, asking in her ear if he's your boyfriend. Before she can push Jerk away, he slaps her ass loudly once more, then laughs and says lewdly that every day is going to be fun from now on. Finally, her boyfriend arrived and noticed her standing with Jerk in her front door. He was taken aback by the situation and asked her about Jerk. Before she could respond, Jerk interrupted and answered. BF: "Hey, what are you doing here instead of going inside, babe? Um... Who's this gentleman over here?" PC: "Um... Well..." JERK: "I'm the guy who lives next door to this beauty. And who the fuck are you, prying like that?" BF: "Um... I'm her boyfriend..." JERK: "So you're (PC's name)'s boyfriend, huh? DAMN! No way guys like me would just let a hot babe like her slip away. Damn it, if I had been a little faster, that amazing ass would have been mine... What a fucking waste. Anyway, nice to fucking meet you." BF: "Um... Nice to meet you too. Well, we should be going now..." JERK: "You know what? Your girl is a fucking incredible chick. She's got a cute face and a banging body. And she's really kind too. Did she tell you? She helped me out before. I had a problem that I couldn't handle on my own, and she got herself all soaked in sweat while helping me out." PC: "Oh..." JERK: "Of fucking course, I didn't just receive help. I'm not some useless asshole. I also lent a hand to her too. I unclogged her tightly blocked pipes. With a damn massive tool of my own, you know." BF: "Well.. Thanks..." JERK: "Damn, That fucking pipe was so tightly clogged. I had a hard time forcing my massive tool into that small hole... But you know what? there's no hole my tool can't penetrate. Any hole, no matter how tight, eventually yields to an expert like me. Got that? No matter how tight the hole is, with a few forceful thrusts, it quickly becomes slippery, and my massive tool starts going in smoothly! It took some effort, but I eventually unclogged that completely blocked hole. Thanks to that, both she and I were drenched in sweat in the end. Oh, no need to thank me.
