Hi there!
I'm excited to tell you that my next book, Saintly Girls Zone vol.2 goes to sale in late April.
This is an updated KDP re-release of Sword Saint 2, previously published in 2016 through a different service. The book contains two standalone novellas about Mikoto Kiyoharu's paranormal adventures in the mysterious Miatori all girls academy, as well as an overarching frame story.
The book will be available digitally as an exclusive Kindle edition, and now also in paperback for the first time ever.
Meanwhile, Volume 1 has been patched to version 2.12, incorporating various minor tweaks and corrections. The Kindle Edition of Vol.1 will also run a discount campaign in the US, UK, and German Amazon stores on the way to the release of the sequel. (It's not possible to have more than one campaign active at a time, so they will be on consecutive weeks.)
The manuscript for the paperback was also updated, and I made some adjustments to the colors and composition of the front cover as well.
As with the first part, you, my patrons, will be able to download a free pdf copy of the full book once it launches.
I hope you've made use of your privilege and enjoyed the first part. The post is still down there somewhere and recently updated, so you can grab it whenever you feel like it, if you haven't already.
I understand the setting and title may intimidate a grown man, but it's not really about sugary teen drama, or just "cute girls doing cute things". The first part sets up a mystery with a twist, whereas the sequel is overall humorous in tone, still with some twists.
Wouldn't be me without twists.
I'd like to think these stories have a bit of something for everyone.
I took the Amazon migration as a chance to revisit the story and dive a bit deeper into the Japanese culture, by including stuff I've learned during my language studies.
Working on the early versions back in the day, I tried to tailor the story to American audiences and avoid confusing readers with unnecessary foreign trivia and weeb terms. But thinking again, I believe all that trivia and little references are precisely what gives the story and characters flavor. So I went all out with the KDP edition, without trying to appear "mainstream" at all.
SGZ is a very important work for me personally, in many ways.
As those who have read it may know, I put a lot of personal reflections under the goofy exterior, my thoughts on life, free will, society, psychology, past, present, future, dealing with trauma, and so on. So I pray every day I'll be able to continue where we left off years back and take the story to its intended conclusion, and then everyone can see what I really wanted to say with this.

Vol.2 cover illustration, work in progress.
Anyway, that is all for now.
If you have any questions, naturally I'll answer. No need to hold back.
It's been rather quiet here lately. Is everything okay? Are you guys alive?
Hope you are!
I'll post again to notify you when the book is out.
Until then, stay safe!
