Guide Plans and Previews

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. Since it's been a few months I thought I'd give you an exclusive look at the state of several guides as long as my plans for the near future. As you've probably seen we just posted our second big Bronze Age update. This added around 250 books, filling in a lot of gaps that basically means we've covered the entirety of 1970-1973. I should have another update this year that takes us up to '77 or '78.

I have two more areas of focus right now. I really want to complete the Marvel Disassembled era this year, or at the very least take us through Dark Reign and Siege. Once we get to the Heroic Age that may or may not end up becoming its own era, I'll just have to see how it feels when I get there.

The biggest news I have for you is that I've started work on the Modern Age (1984-1997). This is the only era currently on the site that hasn't had any work done, leading to lots of questions about why it is not available as a link or menu item. This era kicks off in the aftermath of the original Secret Wars, and my plan is for this to be the next major update to the site next month.

I know some people would prefer I stick with one era rather than bounce around, but both for my own sanity and to try to appeal to a wide audience it helps me to take breaks and switch up when I'm reading. Often when I read hundreds of issues in a row from the same era it begins to drag for me, so this is the only way I've found that keeps me motivated to keep reading and ordering so many issues.
