New fidget style that I'm personally super stoked about! I've been wearing mine constantly lol. People have been suggesting fidget rings for ages now so I finally decided to give it a go! They actually turned out even better than I expected-- After much trial and error to try to get the spinning super smooth. Fun and easy little prints!
The basic ring with little nubs to help with spinning and the snake/ouroboros ring!
Filament is Hatchbox matte black and Overture shimmer green
Print recs:
2-3 walls
5-15% infill
No supports
Add brim if needed
Scale as needed for fingers

2025-05-22 22:41:41 +0000 UTCI just did a test of ones at 150%, 100% and 75% and all still worked and spin well! So I think you'll be good to scale it down however much you need :) (The 75% scale is smaller than a size 4 since my ring finger is a 4.5 and it only gets to my 2nd knuckle lol). So give it a go for him :)

2025-05-20 20:59:56 +0000 UTCPlease consider making them in multiple sizes (at least small/medium/large and indications of what ring size those are - and percentage scales up/down for those for adjacent ring sizes) so that the smoothness of the spinning is consistent. I have base files for 6mm tall "comfort fit" rings I can share with you if you need something standardized to build off of. My 8-year-old oohed over the photo but I don't think the spinning will work if I scale it down to his finger size (IIRC he's a US size 4 on his index finger). For anyone vending these at events, I put together a ring display in TinkerCAD that has the ring size on the top for rings I've made. I'm happy to share that link for customizing it to one's own needs.
