Unwanted Worship

Arezu and the rest of the Diamond clan had sent a small expedition team to some nearby ruins. Of course they had already explored all the ruins nearby many times, but rumours had been swirling that the ground had collapsed recently and revealed another floor. Before the group had a chance to enter, they came across the Pearl clan, who had clearly come here for the same reasons. While the two clans argued as usual, Arezu, one of the wardens of the Diamond clan was sent to sneak on ahead. Unfortunately the new room seemed empty apart from a bunch of rubble. That's what Arezu thought at first, but in the rubble she found a small shard of what looked like a pink crystal. She pocketed it and headed outside. Arezu met back up with the two groups. Irida, the leader of the Pearl Clan realised what happened and tried to justify her outrage. 'You Diamond Clanners desecrated the ruins! The real followers of Almighty Sinnoh would know to respects such a space!'

 Arezu didn't really want to get too involved in these neverending disputes so she got right to the point.

'Uh it's ok the only thing I found in there was this crystal...' As Arezu pulled out the crystal it began to glow as if reacting to the outside air! The glowing of the crystal began to spread so that Arezu herself started to glow. The color changed to a shade of red and all of a sudden Arezu tripled in size, then again, and again until she reached about 50 times her original size. She stood there in a daze, confused and startled at what had just happened, a feeling matched by both clans. After a few moments of silence, Irida declared 'This power! That use of space! She can only be the rembodiment of Almighty Sinnoh!' and she got on her knees as if to start praying. Truthfully Irida had been pretty terrified looking up at the giant Diamond clan member, she wanted to get into Arezu's good books as soon as possible so she started her worship. Besides this sort of power had never been seen before it wasn't a big reach for it to be the power of their god. Adaman, leader of the Diamond clan shouted out his own declaration. 'Almighty Sinnoh has patiently waited to manifest herself as our new Goddess! Let's all praise Almighty Sinnoh!' Adaman got on his knees too and both clans followed suite. Truthfully Adaman didn't really buy it. He had known Arezu for many years, she was clumsy and sweet, but certainly not godlike. But then again he had never met a god, how would he know what their like, he couldn't afford to take any chances.

'Wh- what? Stop it guys I'm not Almighty anything I just touched this thing!...' Arezu was panicking even more at the sight of all these people worshipping her than she had when she started to grow. Being a warden was already so much responsibility there was no way she could handle this. Then again, she could bring peace between the two clans like this. It wasn't like she knew how to get back to normal size and she did feel powerful. Could she really take on her new role? ____________________________ I for one welcome our new pear shaped overlord. I'm a big fan of Arezu so I wanted to try another image with her. I played with some new material effects and lighting effects add on a looming camera angle and I think it came out really well!
