Rayquaza was roaming the skies far above, just barely scraping the atmosphere. In the old days it was the only thing capable of reaching such height. Even now humans weren't capable of such a feat without copious amounts of preparation and technology. Or so it thought.

Rayquaza stopped. It sensed something it had encountered multiple times in the past.

A meteor, but not any old meteor, an enormous one with a malevolent aura.

The same scenario had happened 9 years ago but Rayquaza alongside a brave, courageous and kind young trainer known as May harnessed ancient mega energy to destroy the meteor. But meteors like this were only supposed to appear every few thousand years. The previous one had potentially threatened the whole world, but this one? It was far bigger. Side by side it would've shadowed the whole of Hoenn, if it impacted Earth that would assure its destruction. Even mega energy wouldn't be able to stop it.

Rayquaza had learnt so much about the world back when it travelled with its trainer May. One such thing it learnt about was a phenomena in the Galar region that could grow a pokémon to many times its size. Dynamaxing wouldn't be enough though and Rayquaza knew this.

With a plan in mind it travelled to Galar. In times past Rayquaza may have decided to abandon Earth to its doom, but after seeing how incredible they could be through May's eyes... Rayquaza felt a duty to protect the planet no matter what. So as it arrived at the resting place of its forgotten enemy; Eternatus. Rayquaza struck a devastating deal with the subconsciousness of the energy Pokémon, risking its life despite not even knowing if this new power would be enough.

All of a sudden a beam shot out from the cocoon of Eternatus into Rayquaza. A coat of light enveloped Rayquaza totally. It was used to taking in large amounts of energy, but the Ruler of the skies had never felt anything like this. Then without warning, Rayquaza grew, then again and again. Bursting through any nearby structures Rayquaza struggled to remain airborne due its new weight. Eventually, it stopped. Rayquaza had Eternamaxed. The people of Galar looked up at the enormous serpent that easily shadowed their whole region unsure whether it would bring doom or something else.

It had been so long since Rayquaza had been seen as a god, but right now it felt like one. Rayquaza felt a sense of determination, it had to save the world, no one else could, not the other lazy legendaries, not the humans missiles, not even May, she was a wise human but there was nothing she could do to help the sky leviathan now, not that he’d be able to notice her at this size.

Rayquaza ascended, expecting the meteor any second now. But it stopped in its tracks. It felt something new, total disbelief, if it could speak it would be speechless. Rayquaza was so shocked in fact that it completely forgot about the meteor despite its imminent approach. Then, on the brink of extinction the world waited to hear the sound of the apocalyptic boom that would snuff them out. But instead they heard...

'Hey Zinnia watch me catch it in my t*ts lmao.'

Thank god for our hero May who successfully stopped a world threatening meteor alongside her plucky tiny multi country sized assistant Zinnia! Who are we to judge if she wants to have fun while doing it? Hopefully she doesn't get burnt or miss though, that would suck.

Even with all the dynamax power it could gather, Rayquaza still ended up smaller than Zinnia, the trainer who had failed to impress it years back. On the other hand, Zinnia had only tagged along for the show. Even if she could destroy entire cities with her little finger at this size, she knew her place, she was nothing compared to a real goddess like May who stood taller than the planet.
