DISTRESSED DAMSELS: A KONG-ish sacrificial scenario, revisited repeatedly!

As I flail desperately about for damsel-y content, here's a recent Clip Studio Paint (PC version) sketch based on a $20-tier art request, featuring an OC in a suggested pose with a vaguely King Kong-ish sacrificial vibe:

This reminded me of a rather old Empowered rough sketch, dating all the way back to vol. 3:

Not sure if this was a sketch for a commission of some sort, given Emp's lack of a mask. (I might revisit this piece if I get a chance, BTW.)

That even rougher sketch at lower right suggests that this piece was somehow connected to the "Ninjette captured by rival ninja clan" riff at the end of Empowered vol. 3, as recapped in a nightmare sequence in the opening scene of vol. 4:

Look out, it's Ninjette's father, the scariest weeaboo in the world!

'Twas only a nightmare, though:

Anyhoo, on the "vaguely King-Kong-ish sacrificial damsel" riff, a far more recent example would be the opening scene from last summer's test story of The Chaste and the Chained:

...with its crappy "for position only" lettering, you'll note.

As you might remember, this sequence was a mix of analog pencils and inks:

The results looked okay, but were nightmarishly time-consuming.

Note that I revisited the sacrificial riff in the recent roughs for a new introductory story for The Chaste and the Chained:

...which will need to be drawn by another artist. I didn't want to put said theoretical artist in the position of redrawing my existing Chaste pages, hence the slightly different scenario depicted here; amusingly enough, the new story's setting and opponents will be much easier to draw than what I tackled in last summer's test story.
