DISTRESSED DAMSELS: EMPOWERED vol.12's "Deathtrapmonger" sequence (now with uncensored panel)!

In honor of the long-delayed Empowered vol.12 having gone off to the printers (months ago, I'm told), thought I'd revisit a DiD-intensive sequence I previously posted here years ago, in which Emp faces off with an unusual variation of familiar supervillain Deathmonger:

Yes, it's Deathtrapmonger!

Never having been interested in the "deathtrap" superheroic trope, I was surprised by how much fun I had working on this scene.

Now, here's the version of page 3 that will see publication in November when Empowered vol.12 "drops" at last:

Yeahp, that's Ninjette cosplaying as Etna from the tactical JRPG series Disgaea. I wound up having to switch out her appearance purely for continuity reasons, as the threesome concept hadn't yet been brought up by the point that this scene would have appeared in vol.12.

Worry not, by the end of vol. 12 you will learn what the whole "unused capetrope" deal is all about, dear readers. Just know that the narrative addresses a bunch of different superheroic riffs that were never addressed in detail during the series.

In retrospect, I do kinda wish I had explored the deathtrap concept in Empowered, as this was a fun sequence to write and draw; alas, I can't show you the 2000-era Gen13-related commission that soured me on the deathtrap concept, as I drew a con sketch along those lines that still creeps me out more than a tad. Ah, but if one handled the trope in a more lighthearted manner, the ol' deathtrap could've been a fruitful avenue for an Empowered episode or two.. (Oh, well.)
