DISTRESSED DAMSELS: S'more new EMPOWERED pose rough sketch sets!

So, a while ago, I showed you fine folks an old Empowered rough sketch from circa vol. 3 (meaning 2008 or so), that would've been the basis for a commission featuring an unmasked Emp restrained in a King-Kong-style "human sacrifice" pose:

Wellp, I imported that scan into Clip Studio Paint (iOS version) and revised it with the figure proportions and art approach I use nowadays:

Didn't have the time or energy to work up a full King Kong sacrificial setting beyond her, alas.

Several months earlier, in a desperate attempt to work up Distressed Damsels content, I worked up some Empowered sketches based on an old Spider-Woman story from the 70s that had already been the basis of some older commissions:

Anyhoo, here's the Spider-Woman interior page that the ensuing sketch sets were riffing on:

And an earlier sketch set based loosely on that scene, though I didn't bother actually drawing "The Man Who Couldn't Die," of course:

Wellp, noodled around with s'more pose roughs continuing the scene (sorta):

These are decent enough poses that I can reuse for future comics layouts, whether Empowered (down the road) or The Chaste and the Chained (in the near future).

Yeah, Emp nowadays is not only notably more zaftig than in days of yore, but her hair is growing wavier and wavier over time; go figure. If/when I get around to producing new Empowered content, both Emp and the series as a whole will likely look quite different from the earlier installments.
