A 2006 PSM "Endpage" cartoon re: Dante's beard(s) in DEVIL MAY CRY 4!
Added 2023-10-11 13:00:03 +0000 UTCHere's a 2006 piece I wrote and drew for my recurring "Endpage" feature in the sadly defunct videogame magazine PSM, apparently re: Dante sporting facial hair in the upcoming or just-released Devil May Cry 4 for the PS3:
No idea about the issue in question, TBH, as A) I didn't own a PS3 at the time and B) I stopped playing Devil May Cry after the first game, as its endless button-mashing was waaaay too hard on my drawing hand to continue playing the g-d thing. (My snarky line at upper right re: DMC2 was likely based on poor reviews in PSM.)
And the rough:
Ah, yes, a reference to Season Whatever of Lost, a reference which surely aged like milk. However, if I recall correctly, turned out that "Zeke" was, in fact, sporting a fake beard, which I still find pretty g-d amusing.
