Daredevil S2: The Stairwell of Doom :D

I'm on holiday next week, so before I go, here's Daredevil S2's long take. Happy Valentine's Day, or as we call it in my house, Half Price Chocolates Eve. (The 15th of February being Half Price Chocolates Day, of course :D)

I am wildly enthusiastic about seeing your analysis of the third big oner. I feel like Daredevil as a show lost its way the more it went on and had to start to tie into non-gritty elements of the MCUflix, so I'd really like to know if any of that is obvious in the fight.

Juan Borla

I love the naming of people but it's crazy how names can instantly give you an image of someone, the moment one of them was called Harold I had a back story for him, he fell on hard times and was led astray into the gang, Harold doesn't want to be there, but his 2nd hand record store just didn't work out, his wife left him and he was couch surfing with friends that turned out to be wronguns. I mean he was still a bad guy, but Harold was a tragic villain.

Cynical Rhys

I am also wildly enthusiastic, though I agree that the S1 fight is the best of them. Maybe break it into parts for easier storytelling/exposition on your part? One amusing moment that you can only see in slow-mo replay is that when machete man gets thrown against the wall his blade wobbles laterally. Rubber indeed.

Color me, "Wildly Enthusiastic" please! Always love watching your fight break down videos. Looking forward to seeing Bob (I can only hope eating an apple?) in the season 3 fight.

Dr Nobody

Omg yes please! I love your fight breakdowns, just a treat to get to see you explaining your craft. Love them.

Judy Dodge

Also, yes please to the 12-minute season 3 fight, when you have some time.

Allan West

Have you ever seen the ancient television series Wild Wild West? The stunt people were the same in ever episode because they were all just part of the cast. Robert Conrad talked about it in a memoir somewhere, but I don't have it on DVD to reference.

Allan West

Hello Jill. I have a flirty fight that I think you might like to review. It's from the 1998 movie, The Avengers with Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman's characters. Might be something fun. Cheers!

Jerry

I am wildly enthusiastic. Please and thank you

John Johnson

Wildly enthusiastic for season 3! Here's hoping for return of Bob.

StratoNexus

I think Mother's Day also fits in there...

MY favorite part of the holiday!

Sorry, Jill. Cue: WILD ENTHUSIASM! Your fight breakdowns are too good to abandon! PS. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

Ann Brookens

happy half price chocolates eve! extremely important holiday tomorrow

Robert Calhoun

Firstly I put the light on full on your lighted up version. Different folk different eyes I guess. Secondly all half price chocolate days are to be treasured. Thirdly yes it's twelve minutes long but yes yes yes to the season 3 fight.

So tickled to know other people celebrate the Half Price Chocolate Days. (My family celebrates four of them - day after Valentine's, day after Easter, day after Halloween, and day after Christmas.) :-)

Barbara Simpson

kermit-waving-wildly dot gif I don't really "do" enthusiasm, much less extreme enthusiasm, so is this good? I like your fight commentaries, and I'd like to see the rest of this one.

JCfromNC

We need the third of the trifecta!!!

Diesel Frog

I love the idea of "half price chocolate day" far more fun for me than Valentine's day. Have a great holiday :)
