2025-01-07 17:27:03 +0000 UTCMy favorite stormtrooper (convention based Origins in Columbus, Ohio) was about thigh high and wore a pink tinted armor. She ran across another white costumed storm trooper who was happy to take photos with her and knelt down to be on her level as they talked. I bet that's one of her favorite memories to this day. That con was one of mine despite the dog pile of people sleeping in a spare room on blankets to attend! That's the convention I got to meet Peter/Chewie. Yes, he really is that tall. I'm 5'4 so I had to look up and up at him. I didn't ask for an autograph but I did ask for a photo which he gave with a slightly silly face. I was the only one at his table at that time so I got super lucky!

(Hero character in this context meaning a main character with speaking role, not an extra) - That character being Sergeant Nomi Coven.

Good folks, glad to hear there is in universe examples of women in the ranks. Can't wait to share this with her when this goes public :)
