Steps to Love TL Progress (End of March 2021)
Added 2021-03-29 13:06:26 +0000 UTCI took advantage of the long month and some good vibes and hit the upper end of my target TL range for this month. I'm at +20 percent translated on Sachiko's route for March. So that first draft is 86 percent done thus far, and the timeline is starting to really take shape.
The timeline at this point seems fairly clear, barring any wild setbacks:
-April 2021: Finish out the last 14 percent of the Sachiko route.
-May 1st: Spend up to 3 weeks editing the Sachiko route draft.
-May 22nd: Spend up to 3 weeks doing trial and error with the livemaker code seeing if I can fix some of the more egregious outstanding issues. It would be nice, in particular, to get the kinks out of the replay scenes function and the backlog text function. I don't intend to spend forever on code if I can get it to a point where a full 100% playthrough is possible, but I do feel like people are owed a serious effort.
-June 10th(-ish): v1.0 Patch release
On a side note, I picked up Esukano and SM Gakuen and have been enjoying both in short sessions. My main takeaway on the former is that Ayane Mako remains a great voice actress and she's nailing the dialouge in the early, playful scenes. NanaG's Art is likewise charming, so Sayuri has been very likable so far. We'll see how things go after/if it gets to the hard stuff.

Esukano has been interesting. I have many notes on it (review pending until I finish the last 2 scenes) but the current takeaways are: 1. It has a very specific narrative goal and sticks to it, though that narrative goal is kind of on the outside edge of my strike zone. I find the end result enjoyable, but I might not be in for a trilogy of similar works. 2. Little variety in the outfit department (UNI*LO beige is ew), but the one bondage outfit Sayuri does wear is well-depicted. NanaG sort of takes turns CG by CG depicting it with focus on different clasps/fabric seams/stitches in a way that seems to mirror how one might experience outfits worn during sex irl. 3. I did find myself revisiting DoS na OL Joousama specifically several times throughout the playthrough. Ayane Mako voices both heroines and she's really performing different parts very well. I'm fairly sure Riumu made a blog comment in February to the effect that it would be tough to finish mize's new game within the year (i.e. this year). 2021-04-14 03:46:30 +0000 UTCI think Esukano was good enough but not as great as Herencia's titles. I guess we just got spoiled last year lol. Do you think Riumu would announce a game at the end of the month?
