First of all, thank you all for using and supporting the Database Editor! This tool started as a simple idea and has grown into something much bigger thanks to the amazing community behind it.
After a long time and seeing many users struggle with installing dependencies in the desktop version, I have spent the past few months working hard to port the tool to a web-based version, making it much more accessible—no installations required, just a browser!
Why a Patreon?
The Database Editor will always remain free, and no core features will be locked behind a paywall. However, keeping the project updated and maintaining the website requires time and resources. This Patreon is a way for those who find the tool useful to help ensure its continued development while also getting some cool perks in return!
Will the tool continue to exist without support? Maybe, but it's not guaranteed. Unlike the old downloadable version, hosting and maintaining the website is not free. If the tool has ever been useful to you or has enhanced your experience, consider supporting its future. Every contribution helps keep it alive!

2025-08-08 15:21:07 +0000 UTCSorry, It has been so long since I tinkered with car stats I kind of only had a vague idea of why did I decide to not take acc into account. 40% of it is the engine choice, and 50% of it is entirely redundant to Top Speed stat. Since base engines are well balanced, engine choice difference is negated by fuel loads. Acceleration is not taken into account when calculating the car overall’s % in the editor

2025-07-09 10:42:54 +0000 UTCNot sure if thats the case. Mclaren is in my save overall the fastest by a mile. fastest drs, topspeed and all corner types. Yet they lose almost all races and end like 4th and 5th. The only stat thats low is acceleration (0.34%). the same goes for the williams, RB and haas.
