your avatar was SUCH a good decision i love them a few weeks ago i watched Special Bulletin, a 1983 TV movie with a similar conceit, which is also on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDZQsVNZ3SE). it does things very differently - it's more of a thriller than a mystery, it's not in real time (it time skips at commercial breaks), it's a little more straightforward, but can be a bit manipulative, and the ending has aged kind of strangely now that 24 hour news is more of a thing. it plays with your trust a little bit. but it's an interesting contrast and kind of a beta version of this one go watch it now also
