Who are the sons of Nightmare?
The Sons of Nightmare are a collection of miniature sculptures that play on the idea of what a nightmare is. They're patterned after classical monsters, including Morpheus, the god of dreams.
Mare is a demonic nightmare-bringer who rides across people's chests in their sleep and gives them bad dreams. These creatures represent the oppression and torment of life but also bring us ideas for our own dreams.
These stories describe a man who is visited by a malicious entity while he sleeps. The entity rides his chest and causes him to suffer from terrifying dreams.
