July 2022 theme Poll

Hello everyone! Time to vote for the theme next month, so last month, the Pantheon of Aztec won, which we'll release in a few days. This month we still have Maori Mythology which is standing firm. We decided to replace Dunwich Horror with Cthulhu Mythos Volume 2. The reason for it is because the Dunwich Horror has less interesting characters from Lovecraft, so we wanted the theme to be broad, so we could have a chance to release other gods from Cthulhu Mythos, which is far more exciting and expansive.

This month, we will also be adding WESTERN ZODIACS. Characterization of the famous Astrology signs from the west: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. We will also be adding the new one, Ophiuchus, the serpent-bearer.

The deadline for this poll is June 10, 2022.

1. You can only vote once.

2. Once a theme has entered our monthly polls, it will be there for three succeeding months. If the theme has been in the poll options but failed to be chosen, it will be removed and replaced in the succeeding month.

3. Choose wisely to your heart's content.

Maori Mythology

The next one we'll be adding would be Māori Mythos which originated from New Zealand. These myths concern fantastic tales relating to the origins of what was the observable world for the pre-European Māori, often involving gods and demigods. Finally, the Māori tradition discusses more folkloric legends, often involving historical or semi-historical forebears.

Cthulhu Mythos

The Cthulhu Mythos is a mythopoeia and a shared fictional universe originating in the works of American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft. August Derleth, a contemporary correspondent, coined the term protégé of Lovecraft to identify the settings, tropes, and lore that Lovecraft and his literary successors employed. The name "Cthulhu" derives from the central creature in Lovecraft's seminal short story "The Call of Cthulhu," first published in the pulp magazine Weird Tales in 1928.

Western Zodiac

In Western astrology, astrological signs are the twelve 30-degree sectors that makeup Earth's 360-degree orbit around the Sun. The signs enumerate from the first day of spring, known as the First Point of Aries, which is the vernal equinox. The astrological signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The Western zodiac originated in Babylonian astrology and was later influenced by the Hellenistic culture. Each sign was named after a constellation the sun annually moved through while crossing the sky. This observation is emphasized in the simplified and popular sun sign astrology. Over the centuries, Western astrology's zodiacal divisions have shifted out of alignment with the constellations they were named after by axial precession of the Earth while Hindu astrology measurements correct for this shifting. Astrology was developed in Chinese and Tibetan cultures as well but this astrology is not based upon the zodiac but deals with the whole sky.

Zodiac looks great, but I went with Cthulhu. Can't get enough of Lovecraft.
