PERSIAN MYTHOLOGY
Persian mythology is a rich and complex body of folklore, legends, and religious beliefs that have evolved over thousands of years in what is now known as Iran. It is deeply rooted in ancient Iranian culture, history, and religion, dating back to prehistoric times.

One of the most prominent deities in Persian mythology is Ahura Mazda, the god of sound and the embodiment of truth, light, and wisdom. He is believed to be the creator of the universe and the ultimate force of good. Another important figure is Angra Mainyu, the god of evil and the embodiment of darkness, lies, and destruction. He is the opposite of Ahura Mazda and is associated with chaos and disorder.

Persian mythology also features various supernatural beings, such as Zahhak a tyrant king who ruled over Persia, according to the Shahnameh epic. He was said to have made a pact with the devil and was cursed with serpents growing from his shoulders, which he had to feed with human brains to prevent them from devouring him. He was eventually defeated by Fereydun, a noble warrior the people chose to lead a rebellion against Zahhak's tyranny.

Fereydun became the new king of Persia after defeating Zahhak. He is considered a symbol of courage and righteousness in Persian mythology. His story often emphasizes the importance of good leadership and the triumph of good over evil.

Rostam is another legendary figure from Persian mythology known for his strength, courage, and loyalty. He is considered the greatest warrior in Persian history and is often depicted as a defender of justice and a champion of the weak. Rostam's adventures and heroic deeds are narrated in the Shahnameh epic, including his battles against the demon king Div-e-Sepid and his epic clash with the Turanian warrior Sohrab, who turned out to be his long-lost son.

These three figures, Zahhak, Fereydun, and Rostam, are among the most famous and beloved characters in Persian mythology and continue to be celebrated and revered in Iranian culture today.

There are many stories about Ancient Persia and we will fill you in the coming days.

Hold on tight, folks, because this April will be one for the books! Get ready to witness history in the making, as this month promises to be massive. So fasten your seat belts and get ready to be blown away, because you won't want to miss a moment of excitement!

Does Zahhak's left foot hang off the base a decent amount or is that from the perspective of the render?
