Christmas Competition!
Added 2018-10-16 14:29:12 +0000 UTCYou will probably all know that on Drivethru in recent years we have released 4 great-value winter-themed maps in the four weeks leading to Christmas - our Christmas Countdown. Well this year, we thought we'd run a Patreon-exclusive competition that will allow one of your ideas to get made.
Here's how it will work
We've already picked the ideas for 3 of the Christmas Countdown maps. We need one more! All you have to do is come up with a great idea and tell us about it below. We want you to post a comment with your best idea and we will pick our favourite to make and release in December.
The Prize
If you win, we will not only make your map idea, but you will get all 4 of this year's Christmas Countdown maps for free (when they're released).
We'll also chat with you by email about your idea so that you can help bring it to life. It's like your own free winter-themed commission.
Requirements
- It can be any size or any of our formats (stand-alone maps, storeys, geomorphs, giant etc)
- Must have some sort of winter theme (see previous maps here)
- One entry per person (if you post more than one only the first will be considered)
Our maps
Without giving too much away yet, the three we have already decided upon include a settlement, an icy modular and multi-level dungeon. You can still suggest things that overlap with those, but something completely different might catch our eye.
You always come up with excellent and surprising ideas, so we can't wait to read your wintry suggestions! We'll close the competition on 23rd October, so you've got a little while to think of your best idea.
