December's Map of the Month Preview - The Quarry

We're really pleased to be previewing December's MotM - The Quarry! We noticed that these sorts of locations were frequently missing from RPG Battlemap catalogues, despite being really interesting locations for adventures. We love the different levels in this place.
This 30x30 map will be in the December reward bundle.
We've also planned out the 3 variants of this:
- The Old Quarry - Flooded and abandoned
- Mountain Quarry - a rougher winter terrain
- The Excavation - an archaeological dig around an ancient obelisk
Alt Version
We'd like to hear your suggestions for the Alt-version of this map. How would you reimagine it? How can we reskin/retexture it and tweak it into a new map? Put your suggestions in the comments. We'll pick our favourites and put them into a poll. Remember, your idea should be a fantasy themed map.
