Hope you've had (or are having) a nice weekend!
Time for the alt-poll. We've picked ideas from your suggestions (the alt-version of the Fort in the pass map), plus we've added a couple of our own with different things on the rocky platform.
The suggestions are:
- Winter Mountain Pass - the fort guarding a frozen glacial path.
- Jungle Fort - dense jungle surrounding the fort, with a river running between the cliffs.
- Undead Fort - a sinister fort in a bleak and dead land, with mist and bones
- Shadowfell Fort - guarding a mysterious pass through the mountains in the Shadowfell
- The Dark Altar - replacing the fort with an evil blood soaked altar in a volcanic landscape
- Giant Roc Nest - the valley floor is replaced with a misty chasm, with a rope bridge leading to a colossal nest

The Shadowfell Fort would be quite nice IMO.
