Fury of the Forsaken - Kickstarter with our maps!
Added 2025-05-02 20:56:17 +0000 UTCHey everyone,
As you might know, we really enjoy working with Lou Anders, a talented author who also has created a fantasy RPG setting based on the world in his books. We've worked together over ten times, creating map packs to accompany his adventures.

He has another Kickstarter running now - Fury of the Forsaken - a genuinely excellent adventure, and it features a huge number of new maps from us. Whilst the maps will eventually go on sale on DTRPG, reasons to back the KS are a) you get an amazing adventure to use the maps in and b) the bundle won't be this cheap again.

I asked Lou to summarise the campaign:
Fury of the Forsaken is a book-length epic adventure for 4th level characters. Fury presents a story worth the sagas as your characters must help defend a snowed-in Viking lake town from a siege of undead while unraveling a dark mystery at the heart of the town. Fury is a moody, mysterious, compellng adventure that ends in a climactic battle. Written by Richard Pett (Cat and Mouse, Here Be Goblins) and Lou Anders (Labyrinth Adventures, Tome of Beasts II), Fury of the Forsaken features new rules for running mass combat that aid in running the climactic battle at the adventure's end.
The Bense Trilogy is a compilation of three adventures—Banner of the Bull, Keeper of the Drowned, and Troll of the Town, designed to provide an introduction to the Scandinavian-inspired land of Norrøngard and take characters from 1st to 3rd level.
Both books are designed for Tales of the Valiant and Dungeons & Dragons, and feature copious illustrations, and gorgeous battlemaps from Heroic Maps. Together, they give you enough material for a Tier One adventure path that can launch you into your own Norrøngard campaign or be dropped into any northlands setting.
If you'd like to know more, please check out the Kickstarter and consider backing it :)
