We've found time to tackle the next adventure in Candlekeep Mysteries - The Canopic Being!
Now, this was quite a tough map. The original map has lots of very long corridors, and is 1sq to 10ft, so it ends up being massive! That made it rather taxing on my laptop. But what was also tricky was that it was made of crystal. It's quite hard to make something look like it's crystal, so there were lots of iterations that didn't make it! But, in the end I think I got the vibe I was going for - it's certainly unique!
I also mapped the House of the All-Seeing Orb, a temple of divination where the adventure begins, plus the small portal that leads to the tomb.
A little note - previously our Candlekeep adventures have included a written supplement (written by Sarah). We'd love to have kept doing them, but Sarah's time has been so busy that she's not had the chance to do any. We've decided that rather than hold up Candlekeep Mysteries for months, we'd just push on and do the rest of the adventure as battlemap packs only. Apologies to those that love her work!
