July's MotM Preview - Saint-Gerrin Square (and variants)

We're pleased to show you the next MotM, and the plethora of variants!
Saint-Gerrin Square is a really useful town square in a busy city. So much can happen here. We've also provided an empty version. The variants are a desert city square, also with and without a market, and also just with a nice clear pool.

So, what alt-version of this map would you like to see? (it could be an alt of the desert one too). How could we change it? What different environment, event, theme etc? What else could the square be used for? What's happened here?

Crosses erected in piles of firewood, or a guillotine stand with a vat of blood. It is a place of entertainment and terror, a place of execution.

Perhaps this is the same market, when adventurers first arrive, and as a result of their actions, the market has improved years later to the version depicted in the standard map.
