(Design Diary) I lost my notebook.
Added 2024-10-10 15:20:52 +0000 UTCIn a series of unfortunate events, I have lost my notebook. The 400 page design notebook I carry around with me 90% of the time was misplaced. Somewhere. Possibly at the Red Cross donation center. Possibly at a cafe. I don't know.
I was at the last 10 pages or so of it as well!
I'm bummed because I had a tile laying game design in there and I had done all of the final artwork for, but I never officially wrote down the rules in a document. And knowing me, multiple ideas at once, I haven't the foggiest of how the game was supposed to play now.
The folder on my computer is called "Rocket HQ" because it was inspired by the Team Rocket headquarters in Pokemon where the little arrows on the ground push you around in a maze. There's also a hammer that lets you smash through walls in my game?
Anyway. Felt like sharing.
If you're wondering about the odd delays in game releases, this is why. I'll get something out soon though!

Sorry for your loss 😭 I recently starting carrying a notebook (going analog) to organize my thoughts. After writing so much in it, it can be a great loss. However, as creative as you are, I'm sure you will have even better ideas to come 😎
