Computer configuration updates
Added 2025-08-23 03:26:21 +0000 UTCso i have just got the NAS setup (at the time of writing its got 9 to 10 hours left to finish "synchronizing") and my workstation is itself setup but needs an OS but i cannot choose between dealing with a learning curve with Lunix or dealing with the apple-esque windows 11 nonsense (i do have a copy of windows 11 pro ready at hand but i know Lunix is free to install and use but has its own quirks and things)
i will be continually rolling the dice while i finalize the workstations "station" (it needs a monitor and a display port cable as the GPU only has display ports on it)
after its setup and everything connected and transferred to the NAS i will be finally able to streamline the animation process by relying on the NAS and network access local drive thingies (not over internet but LAN)
