Will, thank you for this. A continued focus on grooves would be terrific. Having played keys in bands, I know that groove is key (and that a piano is really a rhythm instrument as well—it doesn’t matter all that much what you play, as long as it’s in the pocket). Is there a good resource you could recommend for grooves in general—how they are built and played on a drum kit? Ideally a book :D
