A Forced Upgrade… But a Needed One 😭🚨

Hi everyone. 👋

I wanted to share something unexpected that just happened: I was using my computer like usual, everything seemed normal… until it suddenly shut off. At first, I thought the power had gone out. But when I tried turning it back on, a spark went off inside the power supply, and that’s when everything hit me. 😦

The truth is, I had been putting off getting a new PC for a long time. I’d been using the same one for over 5 years, and I probably should’ve upgraded it at least a year ago 💩it had already been running pretty slow. Just like I kept delaying that change, I was also putting off a bunch of “adult life” stuff: paperwork, appointments, getting things in order...😮‍💨

Honestly, the idea of dealing with all that felt exhausting. And my own sense of comfort and complacency didn’t help either 🫤 I figured that as long as I could still work and manage my expenses, it was fine. Just thinking about everything involved (buying new parts, building the PC, reorganizing my workspace, calling places, printing documents, waiting in lines...) made me push it all off for “later.”😴🫸

Now that I don’t even have a place to work from, it really feels like I’m starting from scratch. But maybe that’s a good thing 😉 it gives me the chance to rebuild something much better from the ground up.⛺---> 🏰

I’ll be back as soon as possible, and this time with a setup that’s finally up to the task. 🏃🤸
With this upgrade, my workflow is going to improve a lot, and I’ll be able to focus 100% again. 🍑👣🪶

And most importantly: this change is only possible thanks to all the support you’ve given me over time.
