The Status of My Mods and Patreon

If I'm correct, the Nexus was hitting him up about his mods while they were removing A.I. voice mods from the site. I think the dova can speak mod with the chicks voice from the Witcher 3 game was one of the first they assaulted. Then there were a bunch off articles about voice actors suing modders over synthesizing their voices to make mods for. Most of those articles were for other games, not Skyrim, but still the threat was out there. This was about a year ago. Yet, as far as I know, the lawsuits and official stances by the US justice system has yet to be determined.

Please tell me where you saw an "advertisement" saying I have an OVoice download somewhere. That is a very old mod and was replaced by a better mod over a year ago. You need to join my discord. That's something I said in my most recent update. I guess you missed it.

I joined because you advertise that you have a oVoice download, so I paid , and when I get access there is no oVoice download. that's fraud. you need to make the oVoice download available to me.

Migal's Discord is one the best, if not "The Best" Discord going. He is always active with the community and always available to help when needed. Even better, he has opened his server to other great mod authors, such as Coldsun, Netherworks and others. Migal's Discord is an absolute must to be a part of if you use mods by any of these authors. I pretty much use mods from all of them, personally. I too am a supporter and mind you, I don't "Talk" a lot in the communities, but I am always there, reading and keeping up with all of the updates and checking out any new or shared mods that I may have missed. Personally, though late to the topic, it is disheartening that they decry the tools these modders use to craft UNPAID work for all of us to enjoy but will shell out millions for synth in music, movies, entertainment and other industries. Talk about being on a two-headed jackass. I just hope they all wake up and realize the hypocrisy of their stance.

I'm fairly new to the modding scene, which has been a roller coaster ride in itself and it's been easy to grab the "free stuff'" from here. but the Discord community Migal has put together really made me take the plunge to become a supporter. I sense great things once the smoke settles from this nonsense.

Not going anywhere, Migal. Like all controversies, this too will die out and they will find a new banner to get behind. funny thing is, if anyone believes they are doing this out of the goodness of their heart alone, they aren't. In the end, they are looking for some type of compensation for their "Good Deed", not to mention all of the attention they will get. Maybe Elisif will award them with a key to the city of Solitude.

Hmm, I didnt know that there was any drama going on with synth voices. I can't think of why anyone doesn't think this is massively a good thing. As Migal has said, they have been cutting and pasting, (gawd those suck), and I love that using synth voices is becoming the norm. It's not anyone's job to explain to my why this is an issue, but anyone has some insight, I'm curious.

Unfortunately it's a bandwagon lots of people are jumping on. It'll die down eventually when they find some other banner to chase. Hang in there.
