4th September - 10th September 2023: Weekly Sidereal Astrology Forecast

The week ahead is offering us many harmonious and supportive energies with only two challenging aspects which we will discuss how we can work with them to transmute the lower base metals into higher ones through inner alchemy.

I'm beginning with a reminder that our Sun is still at home in the stars of Leo. The Sun is the most powerful influence in our sky so it is important for us to be in tune with its true present location. Mainstream Astrology is telling us the Sun is in Virgo, whilst Astronomers (star watchers) will tell you this is false. The Sun in Leo is continuing to activate within us our inner child, our creative nature, our playful sides and our confidence. Our dramatic, joking and humorous characteristics are still at our forefronts. Leo loves to play, act, create, dance, attract positive attention, experience romance and have fun which is the general focus of the collective at this time.

This week our Sun is making three harmonious aspects. Firstly, our ego and mind are in harmony. This conjunction between the Sun and Mercury brings on a curious and sociable nature to our external personalities. You may find yourself picking up a new book this week, watching a documentary, beginning a new course or even simply communicating something you know or have learnt with others. This placement means intellectual stimulation more-so than emotional or physical connection. We are feeling confident when talking to new people, sharing knowledge and information and LEARNING.

This week we have a beautiful balance within us between ego and spirit with the Sun Trine Jupiter. A comfortable feeling of faith, new philosophical insights and opportunities to learn or teach great wisdom and knowledge. You are likely going to feel more adventurous than usual, eager to gain new experiences, visit new cultures and live the free life! This may feel like a restless eagerness for freedom and unique individual expression with the Sun Trine Uranus. This placement brings supportive energies to express your authentic self, your weird/unique side and to free your identity.

On a subconscious and internal note, our feminine Moon is making a Trine to the dreamy Neptune. Expect some vivid or unusual dreams this week, enhanced intuition, empathy and emotional sensitivity. You may feel a strong emotional/spiritual connection to your Mother this week or she may appear in your dreams. Note that this placement brings a tendency for idealistic imagination and to see our relationships through rose coloured glasses, so beware of yourself overlooking the reality of things and missing red flags.

On a challenging note, this week our Moon is square Pluto bringing transformation to our internal and emotional world. This might be through hidden subconscious emotions surfacing for the purpose of being dealt with. The transit may even expose the embarrassing things that you have done or an issue that has been lurking for a long time will reveal itself to you. This transit will direct your eyes to the issue which requires transmutation and healing. One should also be careful, especially when you are in a relationship as you may feel more prone to feeling an emotional need to control or manipulate others or situations to regain a sense of personal security and safety. Be sure to assess your own emotions and focus on calm communication of your needs during this time. Overall, this transit will inspire you to face your demons and heal from within.

Returning to our mind and voice, these two are being supported with Mercury Trine Jupiter. The planet of luck is supporting the arena of intelligence and communication. Now is a great time to take some lessons, retain information (in your studies for example), to do well on an exam, or to present a clear and well presented speech (just some examples). Whilst Mercury is currently retrograde which is known for miscalculations, miscommunication, literary errors, etc, Jupiter's positive aspect helps resolve some of these common tendencies.

Our current values (Venus) are still being challenged (squared) by Jupiter which means we are experiencing an ongoing questioning of our philosophies, spiritual connection, freedom, purpose and experiences. We are currently asking the bigger questions, what is the purpose of life? Do I feel free? How can I become more connected to God and the divine? Am I on the right path? Also, do my relationships with others align with my soul purpose?

This may be an emotional week and one of philosophical contemplation, but overall our inner sparks are bright and many of us are feeling the child-like joyful and inspired energy the Sun is emitting.
