18th - 24th December 2023: Weekly True Sidereal Astrology Forecast

This week we say goodbye to Scorpio Season and welcome Sagittarius! This week the Sun is transitioning into the stars of the Archer archetype. Sagittarius invites more adventure, travel, worldly experiences and freedom into our lives. Quite fitting as we approach the holiday season of Christmas in a week’s time. With the Sun in Sagittarius Conjunct Mercury Rx (retrograde), we are being drawn inwards on an internal quest. Sagittarius is the adventurous seeker and in combination with Mercury’s curiosity, we are searching for something within ourselves. As Mercury is Rx, I know this is in internal search, rather than Sagittarius’ typical extroverted and outward approach to life. This transit is inviting us to look within, and search our heart’s desire. We are looking towards our fears because we are feeling the energy to face them and overcome them. Currently, the adventurous quest for knowledge and information will be found within ourselves. It’s the perfect time to journal and spend some time alone to hear your inner guidance clearer.

Mercury Rx in nature is highly unpredictable. When it comes to Mercury’s typical qualities of intellect, communication and curiosity, these can experience unusual interruptions and errors. For example, you may experience technological difficulties, car and machine breakdowns/malfunctions, or simply stuttering your speech. Retrogrades turn the qualities of a planet and sign inwards. Hence why the search of the Sun and Mercury Conjunct in Sagittarius will be an inward journey. Mercury will be Rx until January 1st 2024. During this time, be cautious on any trips involving modes of transport. Delays and cancellations are more prone, booking mistakes, etc.

Venus in Libra is currently Opposite Uranus Rx in Aries so be weary of any sudden changes in your relationships and romantic life. Uranus Rx in Aries is highly unpredictable and sometimes chaotic and an Opposition brings tension and difficulty in cooperation. As Aries’ energy is extremely fast-paced my advice for this transit is to slow down. Think before you react which during this time would be likely impulsive. Remember to work together in cooperation with others as Libra and Venus represent harmony in numbers whereas Aries and Uranus represent independence.

As we lead up to Christmas in exactly 1 week, remember that this spirit of this time of year treasures family, community and gratitude. The stars above are sending us harmonious frequencies to lift up our spirits during this time with Venus at home in Libra, Moon Trine Venus and the Sun in Sagittarius.
