Progress Report: Volume Five
Added 2018-08-20 03:30:33 +0000 UTC8/19/18: Hello everyone! It's high time for me to drop a line. High line time.
Work on Zebra Girl's final volume is progressing. I'm formatting the comic pages one by one, and most of the bells and whistles are finished. The back cover, the ISBN code, the intro page, that page with all the copyright stuff and printing details in the corner, the decorative buffer pages... and of course I have to finish the front cover's illustration.
Now, I do have certain familial obligations which are keeping me busy elsewhere, and I'm also working on some aspects of the site that remain unfinished. Particularly the guest comics which people have sent over the years, but which aren't currently included in the archives since the last move to the current server! They deserve to be there. But I especially wanted to assure everyone that Volume Five is on its way. It's going to be the biggest book of all, and I want to thank you all again for your time and support as I push it all together.
So many of you have left kind words since the story's conclusion, either here or in the comments section on the site, and I regret that I haven't directly answered everyone in turn. For now, let me just say that I've read each word that you've left, and you remain an inspiration which enriches my work! In the meantime, I'll keep you posted!
