Witch Warp WIP: Lion
Added 2023-02-21 22:53:59 +0000 UTCDoing some sketch work to warm up. This is Lion, one of Witch Warp's lead characters! I really want to show you who she is. I want to show you a lot with the new comic! I hope I have it in me.
It occurs to me that cats are the most drawable animals of all. They're like living liquid lines, all butts and grace.
While I'm here, I should mention I've been busy with family stuff, and that's not likely to change very soon. My elderly mother had an unfavorable medical diagnosis recently. Her memory isn't too good, and looking after her is kind of my job now. So that does take up a lot of time. I'm not sure I should even mention it, but it seems good to keep you in the loop while you're invested in my work.
But I'll have more sketches to show you soon, and hopefully this will help get the comic off the ground! I hate talking about stuff and not doing it. So I'm trying.

Thanks, Michael. We're doing well, honestly. It just means she's going to need more care over time. Not sure it's really sunk in yet, but we're taking it day by day.
