Added 2019-05-12 06:46:18 +0000 UTC5/12/2019: Just saw Avengers: Endgame for the second time after marathon viewing about half the MCU library with family. It's truly remarkable just how much you notice, how much detail they put into the script of this film, right down to (spoilers) Hope's knowing smirk towards Scott when she calls Captain America "Cap." And you know I appreciate detail!
I think we can safely say this whole thing might just be the greatest achievement in superhero cinema since Richard Donner's Superman. The moment when Thanos points his dread army towards the combined forces of good is ludicrously iconic, a fully realized vision hinted at in the opening credits of so many of the Saturday Morning cartoons I grew up with depicting armies of good guys clashing with armies of bad guys. I don't know how they'll ever top it. I'm not sure I want them to try.
Well! Had to get that off my chest. You know it had an impact, I drew a whole picture for it. Anyone wanna turn it into a fanfic?
In a more relevant vein, thanks to all of you who've given advice on the layout for the Omnibus page! I've already darkened the text. Of course, there will be variations for the older pages and strips. So stay tuned for further drafts!
And on a different note, my father is having his kidney surgery next week. Keep him in your thoughts, won't you? No one's expecting difficulties, but you're never totally at ease with something like this. But hopefully once we're past this we'll be freed from any further immediate medical concerns!
