Rootclaw Mongrel — Monsters
Added 2023-11-14 16:43:16 +0000 UTCMaybe I'll get tired of plant-themed monsters someday, but today is not that day! This PDF contains a fey canine — a feynine, if you will (*dodges tomato*) — called the rootclaw mongrel, which has its own lore related to the Unseelie Court, as well as its own lair, minions (the underwretches), and quest hooks. I also included a few suggestions for scaling the mongrel to suit your party's level.
Since this creature essentially boils down to "summoned guardian," I think it's actually super easy to work into a campaign! Any time you have an item or location that the fey would have a reason to protect, you can whip out this g̶o̶o̶d̶ bad boy.
Let me know what you think!
