I just finished my thorough review of the Patreon survey results and wanted to say thank you again to everyone who filled it out! This kind of data is so helpful to me, and y'all are so unfailingly kind and supportive that it was also just a joy to read. 💙 I'll be making a bunch of small changes and a few big ones as a result of that data. Here are the main ones:
I deleted "community chats". It felt like a feature that would only be fun if it were active, and since we already have a Discord, there just wasn't much interest. Personally, I wanted to keep up with it so I could answer questions and participate, but it was active so infrequently that it was very hard to stay engaged with. Thank you to those of you who spent a little time there and tried to make it friendly and warm! If you enjoyed your little taste of chats and want something similar, you should definitely check out our Discord.
I'll be introducing a mailed merch tier soon. This tier will feature embroidered patches and stickers! We won't launch it for a few months because I would prefer to get at least 6 months of patches designed in advance so we can ensure a really smooth distribution schedule. More on that tier when it's underway.
I think you'll also notice several other, more general changes over the next few months. Last year was a little rocky, and I didn't feel like I ended up spending as much time around here as I wanted to. I'm excited to correct that in 2024!
