Gelatinous Cutie (re-edit)
Added 2023-03-09 17:00:04 +0000 UTCI re-edited some old Gelatinous Cutie photos today on a whim, because I've never been thrilled with the first set. Sometimes I find it useful to revisit old photos, both to implement what I've learned since originally editing them, and to consider how I'd wear & shoot this costume differently next time. This edit has:
- A cooler color edit
- Softer lighting
- Some bonus hair, courtesy of Photoshop π
I included one of the original edits here so you can see the difference! More than anything, this taught me that if (when??) I wear this costume again, a wig + darker eye makeup is gonna be the move.
I like the new edit so much that it actually makes me want to reprise this costume! The question is... for what?

I love the new hairstyle with the dress and the way the darker eye shadow makes the wig color really pop. It looks a bit more menacing as gelatinous cubes tend to be. For what? There's got to be another music video in that costume somewhere. π
