I experimented for years with each different one, scrapping them over and over because they just didn't fit with the setting or I didn't like them enough. The 'Misu' in one of the above illustrations is one of those that I ended up removing.
One race that was there from the beginning and I never scrapped were the Mau. Though they went through many different changes. I started out with a faun, then they became chimera, the final is a combination of them all
