Though it isn't immediately obvious, increasing focus is a big part of remastering these pages. I need the reader's eye to immediately jump the most important part of each frame. I do so by zooming in more, increasing contrast and saturation where I want the viewer's eye to go, which is usually the face or in this case; fancy ol' Medusa slithering up from her hidey hole.
I do this better in later pages. But it's small changes that make a difference. My efforts increased as I kept going.
