Update for MH Betav2 news And Important Life Discussion

OK So after seeing some issues that people were having with the update. I narrowed down a bunch of the issues and solved them. THOUGH there is still the big rework I need to get to after Her Fall Chapter 10 Part 1, but before the next MH Update.

Which will fix the issues with the wait button not changing the background image, and at the same time also fix the issue with the map occasionally not replacing the background image when you fast travel.

That fix will be a huge switch where I remove almost all of the labels, and just have the code to add the backgrounds directly in the screen code. So it will be a lot of coding stuff. I want that fix out before the nanahoshi update goes out to the 5$ tier supporters.

First off I have never lied in any of my posts, I always keep it 100% with you all. But I haven't discussed what is going on IRL for me. Just mentioned every once in a while that something came up. Well this is going to explain what have been going on in my life. Most of the supporters don't really message me one on one. I honestly don't know why you don't. I really am just a chill person that loves to chat with you all. So if you want to feel free to message me either on here or on discord. But the ones that do message me already know something not great has been going on in my life lately. I haven't bothered telling any of you because I firmly believe that my personal issues are my own, and you shouldn't have to worry about them. But as this is now going to be affecting release schedules it does now affect you. So I feel its only right to let you all know the whole story. This is not meant to be a pity party poor me kind of thing, just a formal statement on the future of both games.

No I am not stopping working on them. I feel that should be stated right away.

So for the last few years I have been living with my sister and her husband. But for the last year I have not had an actual job. Therefore I have not been helping out with bills or anything. My sister and her husband have been supporting me, but they have been getting tired of it. At the beginning of this month I was told that I had 1 month to find a job or I would be forced to get rid of my dog. I have been filling out applications and all that, but I have not done as many as I should, as I have been spending nearly all of my waking hours on development.

I got a message yesterday from my mother talking about me moving 3 hours away to move in with her, which tells me one thing. My sister and her husband are not only talking about removing my dog, but also kicking me out on the street.

So I need to seriously slow progress on the games for a bit, and find a job any job at this point. I will probably go and work at some fast food place or something like that. For context the money I have been getting from all of you patrons, is what I have been using to purchase the food for myself and for my dog. Until just a couple of weeks ago that was around 50$ a month. So I have mainly been living on nothing but Ramen or macaroni and cheese for the last 6 months. Multiple times I had to put my dogs food ahead of my own, and have went days without eating anything at all. As a result in the last year of working on these games, I have went from 290lbs to 161 lbs. I am 6 foot 3 inches tall. If you need the context on size and weight. Essentially went from overweight to skin and bones.

Like I said I am not asking for anything from anyone just telling you what I have been keeping from everyone as I felt it was not something you needed to worry yourselves with as we all have our own problems in life.

So my current plan is to find a fast food job to help with the bills however I can. And only devote a couple of hours a day on game development instead of working 12-20 hours a day on it.
If the patreon every reaches 1,000$ a month (Which is still less than what I would be making working at a fast food job.) Then I will quit the job and focus full time on the game development again.
I apologize to anyone that is upset that this will effect the release schedule of the game. But I also can not continue like this as I cant release any updates at all if I am homeless or dead. I am not asking for sympathy, I am just stating the facts. Due to this though, I think it would be best to not give exact dates on content releases going forward. At least until I have a new job and am able to get a feel for how much I will be able to do in a day. Obviously I will be working like a mad man on days off though lol. It's still my passion to be a game developer so I can't just watch it die you know.
